I should have blogged about this a while ago; however we were working hard on the update for the website and getting more concert dates booked :) Okay, so I am slacker! LOL Whatever the case maybe we had such a great time at this year’s Williston Independence Day Festival and Fireworks show on July 3rd, 2013. The show had marked the 4th year that we had played the event that now draws up to 20,000 attendees. Williston took a big chance on us some many years ago when we were just getting started and being a band that didn’t play many covers nor had a big draw.

According the US Department of Labor, Labor Day is the first Monday in September, is a creation of the labor movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers. It constitutes a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country.

I questioned that because I normally end up laboring on that day each year one way or another. This year I decided to plan out the day and do some grilling and take the time to make something I normally don’t have time to prepare with my busy schedule. So I decided to hang at the house and make Grilled Cheese Bacon Burgers and Homemade Potato Skins.
